After an awesome day at #vegfest our post-run feast….quinoa with marinated portobellos, onion, yellow squash, zucchini, butternut squash, roasted tomatoes served over collared greens. And some vitamix magic - smoothies / fugdsicles from bananas, almond butter, dates, almond milk, cocoa powder, ice and some butterscotch chips! #vegansofig  (at Old Town Colorado Springs)

Carnism & the Matrix

Being a huge movie geek I’ve seen The Matrix at least 5 times. It’s a film I’ve always enjoyed although there are, admittedly, parts of it that still confuse me. With that being said, many of the common themes have resonated with me since the first time I saw it in 1999.
